About Us

Farming on the Paech family farm at Mount Jagged, we consider farming as our life’s work. We both grew up in farming families with a passion for producing high quality food.   We value integrity in the food chain, ensuring that you only get the best when you buy from Gum Park Beef.

We stand behind what we produce. For this reason, we only sell what we produce.

We value customer service and it’s important to us that we know what our customers need so we can make sure they get it, without anyone making assumptions (because we all know where assumptions lead!).

Together we are excited about creating future opportunities for the next generation, leaving a legacy of best practices, superior pastures and an obsession with providing quality for all of our customers.

We aim for our farming practices to be as sustainable as possible. We practice stress free handling, rotational grazing and organic farming methods, supplementing a mix of paddock grasses with a self-serve cafeteria of essential minerals to support the animals’ health and well-being.

We also source organic food waste from the organic sector and divert it from land fill to nutritious pig feed.

By resting paddocks in between grazing we allow nature to take the lead in regenerating pasture grasses and soil nutrients, supplemented by organic inputs and a good dose of Mount Jagged rainfall.
